Wood Magazine application is intended for all mobile devices with Android operation systems (smartphones or tablets).
It will improve the work on the sawmill, allow you to make wood registration in the warehouse, and simplify the process of wood selling to the customers. Wood Magazine works with the forestry caliper Codimex E1 and portable barcode scanner.
You can easily measure the tree diameter using the electronic caliper Codimex E-1 and send it via wireless communication to the application. Furthermore, you can quickly add wood number data to the application using a barcode scanner on a smartphone (or using a portable scanner).
The functionality of the Wood Magazine application is divided into 3 stages:
– wood measurement;
– working in the virtual warehouse;
– wood sale (from the warehouse).
During the measurement user must enter the following parameters:
– ID number of the wood;
– Length;
– Species;
– Quality;
– Diameter of the wood (via caliper).
During each wood measurement, the application automatically shows the current state of wood quantity and volume. The volume is calculated using Huber’s equation.
Data about the wood loaded into the warehouse can be exported as an Excel file. Parameters of measured wood can be modified or deleted at any time.
Before sale, you can find your wood in the warehouse by entering the identification number of a particular wood. From the Magazine/Warehouse tab you can select the appropriate wood and mark it as Wood for Sale. Such wood is automatically transferred to the Sale tab.
The wood on the Sale tab can be returned to the warehouse’s list. The results of the sale you can open in the PDF file or print a sales confirmation for the customer.
All documents related to the sold wood appear on the Archives tab in the menu. In the settings, you can also manage a list of sorts and classes of wood quality.
